Soccer Time!

Emma and Grace are playing soccer. They are having a ton of fun! Both are pretty good considering this is their first season. Emma makes a great forward and Grace is a super defender and goalie. Justin has helped out as a line judge and did a little coaching in one of the games. All in all it has been fun for the whole family!

We went to the Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler concert. It was GREAT!!!

The girls really wanted to go. The night before they asked us if we had gotten tickets. Unfortunately for us we had not. It was a SOLD OUT concert. The next day I called my Mom to see if she could help us out. OF COURSE SHE COULD. As the girls say, "Mimi knows everybody"! Mom made a phone and the next thing I know we have ground seats almost next to the stage. We still had to pay for them, but it was so worth it. That afternoon I picked the girls up from school. The FIRST thing out of their mouth, "Did you get tickets?" I told them NO! (he he he he) They were so sad and upset. Then I laughed and told them, "OK...I got the tickets!" They were so excited! They know every song. They sang the entire night. Emma even sent a text to Taylor Swift and it made it up on the jumbo tron. (So did several hundred others. ) But it made Emma's night to see that.

Justin and I even enjoyed the show. We now know why she has won entertainer of the year. Here are some pictures!

Look up in the air!

For Christmas, Justin got pilot lessons. This is his first day. He was so excited! He has talked about getting them for a long time. We do a lot of traveling all over the state so getting them should work out real handy.

The video is Justin's take off. He is not fly the plane during the take off but shortly there after he is.

In this picture he is checking out the plane. They have to go over it and make sure all is in proper working order. The plane is a Cessna 172.








In the lobby of the airport, they have a mock plane you can sit inside. The girls LOVED it! They had just as much fun as Justin did.

Grace's trip "Under the Sea"

Grace had a field trip to the "Florida Aquarium".

It was a great trip for the kids and they got to see a lot of Florida's natural ocean life.

Grace loves to learn so she was taking it all in.

It was a fun day!
